View some of the delights of Emu Bay

View Emu Bay is situated on the North North Coast of Kangaroo Island. The coast has its own character which ranges from the rugged, windswept and isolated northwest to the beautiful white sandy beach of Emu Bay.

Emu Bay is a 5 kilometre beach that is a favourite swimming destination for locals and visitors on holiday alike. It is a haven for holidaymakers and those who want to put their angling skills to the test.

The bay is only 18 kilometres from Kingscote, Kangaroo Island's main town, and is a perfect base for families on holiday to explore the North Coast of KI along with the attractions on the South Coast. There are tall cliffs, deserted sandy beaches and bays which line the North Coast along with conservation parks and undulating farmland that runs right into the sea.

If you base yourself in our family holiday accommodation at Emu Bay you can enjoy fishing; beachcombing and touring; driving your car on the sandy beach; swiming or walking. If you have a boat the boat ramp offers access to a wonderful fishing and aquatic experience. Prime South Australian species of king george whiting and snapper can be caught in good numbers and Emu Bay offers opportunities for many aquatic pursuits.

The magnificent white sands of Emu Bay beach are just a short, easy walk for the family from our holiday accommodation. Fairy penguins come out in the evenings and they can be heard around the Bay.

The foreshore offers activities including jetty walking and fishing, a playground for the children, a beach barbecue area with lawns and a shed for shelter.

For the adults, the Bay offers fishing and all boating activities. For the children Emu Bay's expansive white sandy beach provides a safe and enjoyable swimming and play experience. View Emu Bay combines luxury and comfort to provide a family holiday you won't forget.
